The deadline is approaching soon to register for the Kansas Medical Society’s annual meeting in early September.
This year’s one-day meeting, Sept. 9 in Topeka, will again feature a members forum, allowing physicians to bring topics of importance to the KMS board.
The event at the KMS-KaMMCO Building, 623 SW 10th, is free to KMS members. The meeting and forum are from 9 to 11:45 a.m., followed by lunch and keynote address by journalist and former CNN anchor Frank Sesno.
Sesno is author of Ask More: The Power of Questions to Open Doors, Uncover Solutions, and Spark Change. His keynote talk will focus on how people can improve their interactions by asking the right questions at the right time. With his Washington perspective, he will also address the challenging politics of health care.
Register by Aug. 30 by calling 800.332.0156 or going online to KMSonline.org
